Ha Tien sign on University AvenueUniversity Avenue has become a destination for culturally-based businesses, art groups, community gatherings and much more. With hundreds of restaurants, retail businesses, and ethnic destinations, Dr. Bruce Corrie of Concordia University began to study to the impact of these businesses and to discuss how to promote these opportunities to the rest of our community as well as to visitors from outside Minnesota.

The proposal to create a World Cultural Heritage District, centering on University Avenue from Lexington Parkway to the Capitol, has now been adopted by the City of Saint Paul as part of the Central Corridor Development Strategy. Greater Frogtown, as a part of the Steering Committee, is leading the effort to create a joint marketing effort around this vision. We are currently seeking funding support to bring this vision to life, and we welcome your ideas and commitment. If you have thoughts to share on this important effort, please contact us.
